Bread & Butter
Updated: Aug 20, 2021
Plain bread is surprisingly easy to find! Butter too! You'll begin to notice along your journey with allergies that vegan products are usually going to work. If you are allergic to dairy, vegan butter is going to be your substitute. The challenge for bread is going to be to find buns without sesame seeds or eggs. Try looking for words like "plain" or "classic" on the bread labels at the grocery store to help you find something quicker. And if you don't end up finding a plain bagel bun, try English muffins! Those are usually pretty safe. They should only contain wheat as the major allergen. If you like jelly, those shouldn't have common allergens in it so you'll be fine. Listed below are all various options for bread as well as a vegan butter, with their allergens. The Blueberry and Cinnamon Raisin bagels are not depicted in the picture but I have their information written down as well.
